We need up to $6,000 for families that have reached out for assistance for toys and emergency disaster for winter clothing and groceries. We have over 70 families with two to four children included and some with disabilities. We would really like to fulfill all these requests as times are extremely hard at this time for those currently unemployed or low-income. These families are primarily in the low-income based housing complex communities and are black, latinx, white, and or Puerto rican descent. If you cannot donate monetarily; clothes, shoes, gift cards or even actual items are greatly appreciated. We also need six walkie-talkies for our bus drivers as they cannot talk on their cellphone and drive as our youth in these vehicles and it is against state policy.
